Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Busuu has committed resources to and is actively working towards being fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. 

Our Current Efforts

We are currently undergoing an external third-party audit to identify areas where our platform falls short of accessibility standards. This audit will provide valuable insights into any specific issues we will address.

Internally, we have also established a specialist team that brings together experts from Product, Engineering, Design, Research, Content, Legal and Compliance. This team works collaboratively to implement comprehensive accessibility measures throughout our business operations. These measures encompass integrating accessible design principles and processes into every facet of our organisation.
